Timothy Riesen, Ph.D. has been a member of the Athgo Board of Directors since 2008. He is a management consultant with over thirteen years of international consulting experience in leading analytical, strategy development, and information technology-based process improvement projects for large multinational organizations around the globe.

Previously, Dr. Riesen worked for a number of well-established management consultancies including Deloitte Consulting and Diamond Technology Partners. As an engagement manager at Deloitte, he led client initiatives focused on achieving process and cost efficiencies for large multi-national consumer products companies. While at Diamond, Dr. Riesen supported engagements that focused on helping international firms develop digital strategies that would best exploit the many new efficiencies and capabilities made available through the Internet. His international experience includes extensive client work in Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East.

Dr. Riesen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Economics and Spanish from Valparaiso University. His graduate level education includes a Master of Business Administration degree from Arizona State University, a Master of International Management degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Master of International Studies as well as a Doctorate of Political Science degree from the Claremont Graduate University.
